Real Estate
The firm is an authorized agent of Old Republic Attorneys Title Insurance Fund and handles all matters of residential and commercial real estate closings. We assist buyers and sellers of real estate transactions mainly in the South Florida market.
General Litigation
This area of practice covers simple to complex litigation matters to include contract disputes, real estate litigation, estate litigation, family law, personal injury and other cases that find their way to the Courthouse.
Estate Planning
The firm assists clients in establishing estate planning objectives through drafting Wills and other estate planning documents. If a client desires an effective estate plan the firm is positioned to assist them.
Probate
Part of the firm’s practice is to assist clients and families to navigate what can be an emotional and sometimes difficult process of admitting a Will or Intestate Estate to the Probate process at the Courthouse. Then we help the Personal Representative (a/k/a Executor) perform the statutory duties assigned to them in that capacity. The goal, of course, is to bring the Estate from the point of opening to the point of closure, which can sometimes be a long and involved proceeding.
Mediation
Mr. Hilberth is a Florida Supreme Court certified Circuit Court Mediator and Family Law Mediator. During the foreclosure crisis, Mr. Hilberth established a specialty Circuit Court Mediation practice, Mediated Foreclosure Solutions, LLC, to specifically address a mediated solution to the avalanche of foreclosures that permeated the market. He mediated in excess of 450 foreclosure mediations to this end. Mr. Hilberth continues to employ his experience as a litigator and real estate closing agent to offer
Also certified as a Family Law Mediator, Mr. Hilberth is available to mediate family law matters to assist parties to reach non-judicial resolutions to their family law disputes. He is also a contract mediator with the 17th Judicial Circuit of Broward County court system and continues to mediate cases through the Court sponsored mediation program.
